Administrators across the state say the school-district-unification plans sent to Gov. Janet Napolitano are not the answer to higher academic results. The report submitted Friday by the Arizona School District Redistricting Commission would affect more than 330,000 Arizona students. Twenty-seven districts would replace the existing 76 elementary and high-school districts, eliminating 49 districts of the state's 227. .
Software cracking tools open the door to malware
Some of the most prevalent "hacking tools" are those which users unwittingly install themselves, according to stats from anti-virus firm Trend Micro. Trend Micro warns that, for example, key generator programs designed to unlawfully activate Nero CD burning software from a trial mode into a paid mode are often packaged with a range of malware. .

We need to get the leadership of the various entities — and I'm talking about mayor, city administrator, county administrator, Whitfield County board chairman, both superintendents, both school board chairmen, the head of the college, the head of the chamber, head of the utility, head of the hospital, head of the NAACP, head of ACLA (the Latin American Community Alliance), whoever else — and sit down and say we all have obstacles to overcome, we've all got challenges. Indulging A Taste For Diners
A few miles away at the edge of the airport and across the road from Wal-Mart is the Aero Diner, a lovingly restored rectangular structure from the late 1950s with a gleaming steel skin and large picture windows that angle outward. Once known as East Hartford's Boulevard Diner, it was moved to Southbury and then to Windham, where it was the South Windham Diner until 1995, arriving at its current site in 2005.
Unfortunately, not all diners are so successfully recycled: Skee's, which dates from the 1920s, has sat sadly vacant and deteriorating for years on its busy Main Street corner in Torrington. Garbin speculates that it's "the oldest viable diner in the country." I remember a Fathers' Day breakfast in the tiny barrel-roof eatery when my kids were small. How I long to be there again, gazing out the etched glass windows, admiring the dark woodwork, the marble countertop and elaborate ceramic tile as I fork pancakes off my plate.
